Erik Janson is a Los Angeles based songwriter, composer, music producer and a former member of the Los Angeles band Wildling. He currently works out of his Los Angeles, CA studio where he is writing and producing music for a variety of projects.

Erik is a graduate of UC Berkeley where he studied Rhetoric & Music, and has also studied composition with composer and pianist Bevan Manson.

After spending several years performing with his band in San Francisco, Erik moved back to his native Los Angeles to pursue recording opportunities, and landed his first gig writing original songs and score for the Lionsgate film "The Man Who Came Back."

As a songwriter and producer Erik has collaborated with a variety of bands and artists. His songs and production work can be heard on major label and indie records, as well as across all media in advertising, television and film. Some recent placements include EA Sports NHL, a Donna Karan Cashmere Mist commercial, an AMC promotional trailer, a STARZ promotional trailer, and on television shows like CBS's "Criminal Minds," NBC's "Nashville" and more.

When not writing and producing songs, Erik also composes original music for studio and independent film projects, television and video games.
